Configuration
2 fields, 2 required. A dotted path is a nested object and name[] an array of objects — the editor renders the same tree.
| Field | Type | Required | Default | Constraints | Example |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
form_identifier The Wufoo form to act on, given as its permanent hash or its title. | string | Yes | — | — | s1afea8b1vk0jf7 |
fields The entry's values, keyed by Wufoo field id; dates go in as YYYYMMDD. | object | Yes | — | ≥ 1 characters | {"Field1":"Jane","Field2":"jane@example.com"} |
Example configuration
Every value below is the contract’s own example or default — nothing invented.
{
"fields": {
"Field1": "Jane",
"Field2": "jane@example.com"
},
"form_identifier": "s1afea8b1vk0jf7"
}Output
One shape.
result
| Field | Type | Example |
|---|---|---|
success True — a refused entry fails the step instead. | boolean | — |
entry_id The EntryId Wufoo assigned to the new entry. | number | — |
entry_link API URL that reads back just this entry. | string | — |
redirect_url The form's configured redirect, when it has one. | string | — |
form_identifier The form the entry was submitted to. | string | — |
{
"entry_id": 0,
"entry_link": "",
"form_identifier": "",
"redirect_url": "",
"success": false
}Notes
- Wufoo answers a refused entry with HTTP 200 and Success: 0. This node fails the step in that case, with the reason Wufoo gave for each field, rather than reporting a submission that was never stored.
- Entry submissions are rate limited to 50 per Wufoo user in a rolling five minutes; over that, Wufoo answers 429.
See Submit Entry run in a workflow.
In a technical demo we add the Wufoo connection, drop the node on the canvas and let Workflow Health pre-flight it before the first real run.
