brandfetch.get_brand_context
ActionBusiness appsconnection required
Calls the Brandfetch API with the connection's credentials.
Read a narrative brand context for a domain: identity, positioning, voice and visual style, shaped for a language model.
Connection
- Required
- Yes — the node will not save without one
- Auth type
- Bearer token
- Providers
- Brandfetch
- Secret shape
- the API key, or {"api_key": "…"}
- Config it needs
- client_id
- Resolved by

Configuration
2 fields, 1 required. A dotted path is a nested object and name[] an array of objects — the editor renders the same tree.
| Field | Type | Required | Default | Constraints | Example |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
domain The domain to describe, or an email address on it — Brandfetch resolves the address to its registrable domain and stores neither. | string | Yes | — | — | brandfetch.com |
cached_only Answer only from Brandfetch's cache and return found: false instead of crawling the domain live, which can take several seconds. | boolean | No | false | — | — |
Example configuration
Every value below is the contract’s own example or default — nothing invented.
{
"cached_only": false,
"domain": "brandfetch.com"
}Output
One shape.
result
| Field | Type | Example |
|---|---|---|
found False when cached_only was set and nothing was held. | boolean | — |
meta Metadata about the resolved context, in snake_case. | object | — |
identity The brand's core identity. | object | — |
positioning How the brand positions itself in its market. | object | — |
brand The brand's voice and visual style. | object | — |
{
"brand": {},
"found": false,
"identity": {},
"meta": {},
"positioning": {}
}Notes
- This endpoint returns snake_case field names, unlike the rest of the v2 API, because it is shaped for language-model tooling.

In a technical demo we add the Brandfetch connection, drop the node on the canvas and let Workflow Health pre-flight it before the first real run.
