|---|---|---|---|---|---|
filename File name WordPress stores the upload under, including its extension. | string | Yes | — | — | cover.png |

content_encoding How file_content is encoded. Binary files must be base64. | string | No | base64 | one of "base64", "text" | — |
content_type MIME type to declare for the upload. Guessed from the filename when empty. | string | No | — | — | image/png |

}Notes
- POST /wp/v2/media sends the file as the raw request body with a Content-Disposition filename — there is no multipart form.
- Title, alt text, caption and post cannot ride along with a binary body, so they are applied with a follow-up POST /wp/v2/media/<id>.
- The upload is capped by MANTLE_BINARY_MAX_BYTES, and the site's own upload_max_filesize still applies.
See Upload Media run in a workflow.
In a technical demo we add the WordPress connection, drop the node on the canvas and let Workflow Health pre-flight it before the first real run.
