Append Rows

seatable.append_rows
ActionDatabases & warehousesconnection required

Calls the SeaTable API with the connection's credentials.

Add one or more rows to a table, keyed by column name; the result reports how many of them SeaTable actually inserted.

Connection

Required
Yes — the node will not save without one
Auth type
API key
Providers
SeaTable
Secret shape
the base API token, or {"api_token": "…", "account_token": "…"} where the account token is only needed by the webhook operations
Config it needs
server_url, base_uuid, workspace_id, base_name
Resolved by
config.connection_id, else node.connection_id

Configuration

3 fields, 2 required. A dotted path is a nested object and name[] an array of objects — the editor renders the same tree.

FieldTypeRequiredDefaultConstraintsExample
table_name
Name of the table the rows are appended to.
stringYes——Contacts
rows
JSON array of row objects keyed by column name; SeaTable silently ignores a key that names no column.
arrayYes—≥ 1 characters; array of object[{"Email":"ada@example.com","Name":"Ada Lovelace"}]
apply_default
Fill columns the rows omit with the table's configured defaults.
booleanNofalse——

Example configuration

Every value below is the contract’s own example or default — nothing invented.

{
  "apply_default": false,
  "rows": [
    {
      "Email": "ada@example.com",
      "Name": "Ada Lovelace"
    }
  ],
  "table_name": "Contacts"
}

Output

One shape.

See Append Rows run in a workflow.

In a technical demo we add the SeaTable connection, drop the node on the canvas and let Workflow Health pre-flight it before the first real run.
