Create Webhook
postmark.create_webhook
ActionEmailconnection required
Calls the Postmark API with the connection's credentials.
Point one of the server's message streams at an external URL for the events you choose — a Mantle trigger.webhook URL, or any other system that can accept a POST.
Connection
- Required
- Yes — the node will not save without one
- Auth type
- API key
- Providers
- Postmark
- Secret shape
- the server API token, or {"server_token": "…"}
- Config it needs
- message_stream, from_address, base_url
- Resolved by
- config.connection_id, else node.connection_id
Configuration
5 fields, 2 required. A dotted path is a nested object and name[] an array of objects — the editor renders the same tree.
| Field | Type | Required | Default | Constraints | Example |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
url The URL Postmark should POST each event to. | string | Yes | — | — | — |
events Which events this webhook receives. Anything not listed is turned off. | array | Yes | — | 1–6 characters; array of string | — |
message_stream The message stream to attach the webhook to. Leave blank to use the stream on the connection, which defaults to Postmark's 'outbound' stream. | string | No | — | — | — |
http_headers Headers Postmark should send on every delivery, as a list of {"Name", "Value"} objects — the only way to let the receiver authenticate a delivery, since Postmark signs nothing. | array | No | — | array of object | — |
verify_endpoint Postmark's Verify flag. Left unset it defaults to true at Postmark, which calls the URL once per enabled event before saving and refuses the whole call unless every probe answers 200. Set it false to store the webhook unverified — Postmark then delivers nothing to it until it passes verification later. | boolean | No | — | — | — |
Output
One shape.
result

Status verified or unverified. | string | — |
{
"HttpHeaders": [],
"ID": 0,
"MessageStream": "",
"Status": "",
"Triggers": {},
"Url": ""
}Notes
- Postmark probes the URL before it will save the webhook: every enabled event must answer 200, or the call fails with 422 (ErrorCode 1364) and nothing is created. Point it at a URL that is already live.
See Create Webhook run in a workflow.
In a technical demo we add the Postmark connection, drop the node on the canvas and let Workflow Health pre-flight it before the first real run.
