Configuration
3 fields, 3 required. A dotted path is a nested object and name[] an array of objects — the editor renders the same tree.
| Field | Type | Required | Default | Constraints | Example |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
board_id The board's id. | string | Yes | — | — | — |
board_attribute Which attribute to change. | string | Yes | — | one of "name", "description", "communication" | — |
new_value The attribute's new value. | string | Yes | — | — | — |
Output
One shape.
result
| Field | Type | Example |
|---|---|---|
ok True when monday.com accepted the change. | boolean | — |
result monday.com's confirmation payload for the change. | any | — |
{
"ok": false,
"result": null
}Notes
- update_board is the one board mutation that answers with monday's JSON scalar rather than a Board, so 'result' is that payload rather than the board itself.
See Update Board run in a workflow.
In a technical demo we add the Monday.com connection, drop the node on the canvas and let Workflow Health pre-flight it before the first real run.
