Configuration
6 fields, 1 required. A dotted path is a nested object and name[] an array of objects — the editor renders the same tree.
| Field | Type | Required | Default | Constraints | Example |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
board_id The board's id. | string | Yes | — | — | — |
column_id The column to match on, for the single-column shorthand. | string | No | — | — | — |
column_values The values that column may hold; a comma-separated string also works. Required whenever 'column_id' is used. | array | Conditional | — | ≥ 1 characters; only with column_id; array of string | — |
columns Several filters at once: [{"column_id": "status", "column_values": ["Done"]}]. | array | No | — | ≥ 1 characters; array of object | [{"column_id":"status","column_values":["Done"]}] |
limit How many records to return per page (monday's maximum is 500). | number | No | 25 | 1–500 | — |
cursor The cursor returned by the previous page; leave blank for the first page. | string | No | — | — | — |
- At least one of columns, column_id must be set.
Example configuration
Every value below is the contract’s own example or default — nothing invented.
{
"columns": [
{
"column_id": "status",
"column_values": [
"Done"
]
}
],
"limit": 25
}Output
One shape.
result
| Field | Type | Example |
|---|---|---|
items The matching items, each with its column values. | array | — |
cursor Pass this back as 'cursor' to fetch the next page. | string | — |
count How many items this page returned. | number | — |
{
"count": 0,
"cursor": "",
"items": []
}Notes
- monday.com refuses 'columns' and 'cursor' together, so a follow-up page sends the cursor alone and the filter is remembered from the first call.
- Matching is on the column's exact value, not a substring; use list_items with query_params for contains-style rules.
See Search Items By Column Value run in a workflow.
In a technical demo we add the Monday.com connection, drop the node on the canvas and let Workflow Health pre-flight it before the first real run.
