Update Record

hubspot.update_object
ActionCRM & salesconnection required

Calls the HubSpot API with the connection's credentials.

Patch one record of any CRM object type with PATCH /crm/v3/objects/{objectType}/{recordId}. Only the properties you send change; everything else keeps its stored value.

Configuration

4 fields, 3 required. A dotted path is a nested object and name[] an array of objects — the editor renders the same tree.

FieldTypeRequiredDefaultConstraintsExample
object_type
The HubSpot object type, plural — contacts, companies, deals, tickets, notes, tasks, calls, emails, meetings, products, line_items, quotes, leads. A custom object works here too, as its fully-qualified name or its "2-12345" type id.
stringYes——contacts
object_id
The HubSpot record id of the record to update.
stringYes——101
properties
Properties to change, as a JSON object keyed by HubSpot's internal property name. Send an empty string as a value to clear a property.
objectYes——{"lifecyclestage":"customer"}
id_property
A unique property to use as the key instead of the record id — email for a contact, domain for a company, or any custom unique property.
stringNo———

Example configuration

Every value below is the contract’s own example or default — nothing invented.

{
  "object_id": "101",
  "object_type": "contacts",
  "properties": {
    "lifecyclestage": "customer"
  }
}

Output

One shape.

In a technical demo we add the HubSpot connection, drop the node on the canvas and let Workflow Health pre-flight it before the first real run.
