Delete an event from a Google Calendar.

Connection

Required
Yes — the node will not save without one
Auth type
OAuth 2.0
Providers
Google Calendar
Secret shape
{"client_id", "client_secret", "refresh_token"}
Config it needs
token_uri
Resolved by
config.connection_id, else node.connection_id

Configuration

3 fields, 1 required. A dotted path is a nested object and name[] an array of objects — the editor renders the same tree.

FieldTypeRequiredDefaultConstraintsExample
calendar_id
Calendar id, or 'primary'.
stringNoprimary——
event_id
Event id to delete.
stringYes———
send_updates

stringNoallone of "all", "externalOnly", "none"—

Example configuration

Every value below is the contract’s own example or default — nothing invented.

{
  "calendar_id": "primary",
  "send_updates": "all"
}

Output

One shape.

deleted

FieldTypeExample

The event id that was deleted.
string—
deleted
Always true when the step succeeds.
boolean—
already_gone
True when the event had already been deleted — the step still succeeds so retries converge.
boolean—
status
Always 'cancelled'.
string—
{
  "already_gone": false,
  "deleted": false,
  "id": "",
  "status": ""
}

Notes

  • The refresh token needs a writable calendar scope (calendar or calendar.events).

See Delete Event run in a workflow.

In a technical demo we add the Google Calendar connection, drop the node on the canvas and let Workflow Health pre-flight it before the first real run.
