Get Transcripts

gong.get_transcripts
ActionCRM & salesconnection required

Calls the Gong API with the connection's credentials.

Retrieve the speaker-by-speaker transcripts of the matching calls.

Connection

Required
Yes — the node will not save without one
Auth type
Username & password
Providers
Gong
Secret shape
{"username": "<access key>", "password": "<access key secret>"} — the access_key / access_key_secret spelling is accepted too
Config it needs
base_url, workspace_id
Resolved by
config.connection_id, else node.connection_id

Configuration

5 fields, none required. A dotted path is a nested object and name[] an array of objects — the editor renders the same tree.

FieldTypeRequiredDefaultConstraintsExample
call_ids
Gong call ids, as a JSON array or a comma-separated string. Leave blank to filter by date range instead; an empty list is not a filter Gong accepts.
arrayNo—≥ 1 characters; array of string—
from_date_time
Start of the window, ISO-8601 (e.g. 2026-01-01T00:00:00Z or 2026-01-01T02:30:00-07:00).
stringNo—iso8601 format2026-01-01T00:00:00Z
to_date_time
End of the window, ISO-8601. Must be later than the start of the window.
stringNo—iso8601 format2026-01-31T00:00:00Z
workspace_id
Limit to one Gong workspace. Blank uses the connection's workspace_id, or every workspace.
stringNo———
cursor
The 'cursor' from the previous page; leave blank for the first page. Gong expires a cursor about an hour after the first page of a sequence.
stringNo———
  • At least one of call_ids, from_date_time must be set.

Example configuration

Every value below is the contract’s own example or default — nothing invented.

{
  "from_date_time": "2026-01-01T00:00:00Z",
  "to_date_time": "2026-01-31T00:00:00Z"
}

Output

One shape.

Notes

  • speakerId cross-references the speakerId of the parties returned by Gong: Search Calls — pair the two nodes to put names on the words.

See Get Transcripts run in a workflow.

In a technical demo we add the Gong connection, drop the node on the canvas and let Workflow Health pre-flight it before the first real run.
