Wait for Job Execution

cloud_run.wait_execution
ActionGoogle Cloudconnection required

Polls GET /v2/{operation} for the execution, then the execution itself, until completionTime is set or the timeout is reached.

Poll a Cloud Run job execution until it finishes, then report the result.

Configuration

8 fields, none required. A dotted path is a nested object and name[] an array of objects — the editor renders the same tree.

FieldTypeRequiredDefaultConstraintsExample
project_id
GCP project id (overrides connection).

region
Cloud Run region (overrides connection).
stringNous-central1——
operation
Operation name from cloud_run.run_job. Defaults to the upstream step's `operation`.
stringNo———
job
Job name — only needed with a short `execution` name.
stringNo———
execution
Wait on this execution instead of an operation.
stringNo———

Example configuration

Every value below is the contract’s own example or default — nothing invented.

Notes

  • Holds a worker thread for the whole wait — keep the timeout tight.

See Wait for Job Execution run in a workflow.

In a technical demo we add the Google Cloud Run connection, drop the node on the canvas and let Workflow Health pre-flight it before the first real run.
