Set Group Members

bitwarden.set_group_members
ActionBusiness appsconnection required

Calls the Bitwarden API with the connection's credentials.

Replace a group's membership with exactly the member ids given; anyone missing from the list is removed from the group.

Connection

Required
Yes — the node will not save without one
Auth type
OAuth 2.0
Providers
Bitwarden
Secret shape
the organization API key client_secret, or {"client_secret": "…"}
Config it needs
region, client_id, base_url, identity_url
Resolved by
config.connection_id, else node.connection_id

Configuration

2 fields, 2 required. A dotted path is a nested object and name[] an array of objects — the editor renders the same tree.

FieldTypeRequiredDefaultConstraintsExample
group_id
The group to act on, by its Bitwarden group id.
stringYes——bfbc8338-e329-4dc0-b0c9-317c2ebf1a09
member_ids
The full membership as a JSON array of organization member ids; an empty array empties the group.
arrayYes—array of string["e68b8629-85eb-4929-92c0-b84464976ba4"]

Example configuration

Every value below is the contract’s own example or default — nothing invented.

{
  "group_id": "bfbc8338-e329-4dc0-b0c9-317c2ebf1a09",
  "member_ids": [
    "e68b8629-85eb-4929-92c0-b84464976ba4"
  ]
}

Output

One shape.

result

Notes

  • Bitwarden answers this call with an empty 200, so the output reports what was sent.

See Set Group Members run in a workflow.

In a technical demo we add the Bitwarden connection, drop the node on the canvas and let Workflow Health pre-flight it before the first real run.
