Example configuration

Every value below is the contract’s own example or default — nothing invented.

{
  "filters": {
    "due_on.before": "2026-10-01",
    "is_subtask": false,
    "tags.any": "12345"
  },
  "sort_ascending": false,
  "sort_by": "modified_at"
}

Output

One shape.

result

FieldTypeExample
items
The records Asana returned for this page.
array—
count
How many records this page contains.
number—
next_offset
Pagination token for the next page, or null when this is the last page.
string—
{
  "count": 0,
  "items": [],
  "next_offset": ""
}

Notes

  • Search is workspace-scoped, needs a premium Asana workspace or team, is eventually consistent (10-60s behind writes) and does not paginate — 'next_offset' is always null here.

See Search Tasks run in a workflow.

In a technical demo we add the Asana connection, drop the node on the canvas and let Workflow Health pre-flight it before the first real run.
